I'm sure a while back MSR had quite a big presence on this forum 18 months or so ago?
I'm after a cheap unbranded mid range bat and remember they had loads of bats to chose from at different grades but cant find them anywhere on here now??
Clubmate of mine has a fully stickered up MSR and it goes really well and was after something similar but without the logos

You can get them on eBay. Lots of unbranded ones on there. If you fancy a trip, Steve would welcome you to his cave of blank bat wonders

Msr stopped sponsoring the forum, however are very approachable. Email them.
The bats are decent.

Buzz you got one? You posted any pics of it?

I have had two extremely cheap eBay MSR bats. Both were hard pressed by the feel of the knocking in and took a while to get going but both performed well. Well enough that they got used by others who haven't given them back yet.

Are all their bats one profile?

I've had a couple. Both butterflies and both been very good. Quite softly pressed but for the price I didn't spend too long knocking it in and just took them into the nets. Both similar profiles but there are a couple of different ones form looking at the pics. Both came a bit heavier than advertised but not excessively so. Thin handles though so if you like a thicker handle you'll need a couple of grips so cater that in your weight consideration, especially if you use scuff, edge tape etc or want to add stickers at a later date.
Profiles I have had have some concaving but nothing ridiculous. Solid shapes and solid bats for the money

Steve at msr is a top bloke.... He as a rule opens up his garage and let's you pick through the 100's of bats he has! I must've looked at 150 bats last time I went! And came away with 9! Priced at £50-60, but as I buy a lot of him I usually get a discount! I would recommend going yourself and looking as quality varies massively! Main thing too look for is filler near the handle! Roll the grip slightly back if you need! ....you can find beauties! But they need work! I snap the face re-oil and then knock in for at least 8-10 hours before selling on too team mates and friends! Also be wary if you don't go just after a new shipment all the bats of good quality are usually quite heavy! Any questions on my experiences please ask! Also if the handle goes he replaces for free no charge! And if they go 1st match etc... he's usually happy just to give you a new one.

Yes, but it was a super cheap butterfly to use in the garden with my kids. There are almost certainly pics of it on here somewhere!
