Title: Hunts County Turbo Revolution
Post by: FattusCattus on July 28, 2015, 11:32:11 AM
Has anyone had one of these and used it for long enough to form an opinion of it?  I wondered what they were like, and what the pick-up was like?

Jake have you still got the demo one?  what did you think of it as a bat?

We used a test one at a Vitas Forum event a couple of years ago. Didn't look much different size wise and went ok, but no different really. Not sure many people on the forum have a revolution but it would be interesting to see a review.

I think Tim has a long blade butterfly that has been drilled. Not a direct comparison but his insight would be useful.

@FattusCattus i do have the demo, in fact i will shortly be listing it, along with a few other goodies/ex demo items, for sale on the fourm.

Care to share what items there might be or leave us in suspense ? [emoji50]

Let's just say that my Long Blade Butterfly HC in a Turbo Revolution shape complete with the hole drilled down the middle and Turbo revolution stickers for good measure goes like a train. It's scored a lot of runs in LMS (mostly in other people's hands) and one of my colleagues who borrowed it was very, very impressed.

It's proven to be a very good bat that picks up well. It's not a bottom heavy shape at the best of times. so you expect a half decent pick up, and I'd say it has that. All in all I am very impressed with it.

@Alvaro @FattusCattus @Vitas Cricket Used it last night to have a quick blast of 32 off 23. Went very well!

Me personally? I had a good game. As a team...? Not so well...

Ah, much the opposite of my game then! First baller made easier by a team win.  :-[
