Title: Need a new pair of gloves
Post by: Harry L on August 19, 2015, 08:06:45 PM
I am looking for a new pair of gloves mainly for next season but deciding to get them very early, so I can use them for the remainder of this season! Will be looking to spend around the 40-45pound mark. Any suggestions would help.

I've been using the Hell4Leather NV Pro gloves this season and they have been fantastic, extremely comfortable and top protection.

I just bought these and they're amazing:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Original-Pittards-Leather-Batting-Cricket/dp/B00YEVF2MC/ref=sr_1_1?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1440070203&sr=1-1&keywords=ca+15000+batting (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Original-Pittards-Leather-Batting-Cricket/dp/B00YEVF2MC/ref=sr_1_1?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1440070203&sr=1-1&keywords=ca+15000+batting)

They retail at more than here on amazon I'm sure.

Dunno what they're actually "worth" since I've never owned what are definitely top end gloves. Does anyone know?

Looked at these before! But they're 60quid which is quite a lot for gloves in my opinion. It seems I've narrowed my search down a bit to H4L,B & S,Ton,GM and red ink just need to decide. Has anyone here owner a pair of b&s 274 or impi gloves? I like the look of both pairs.

£55 on sale at H4L's website at the moment if that extra fiver helps  :) or they have the classics at £45 but they need a bit of wearing in to get the flexibility in my opinion, protection is still awesome as well.

I've got some lightly used B3 gloves for sale in the for sale section, you'll need a few more posts before you can see that though.

Those CA gloves look a steal!

Shame they won't match with my Woodworm or Gray Nicolls kit, so I'd have to buy a matching bat and pair of pads to go with them if I bought a pair! It works out quite an expensive to buy kit when you have OCD...  :-[
