From the UK I'd avoid GM and GN unless there is an off-season bargain. I do like my Vortex from the GN ebay outlet.

Other brands that I've come across recently that have impressed are H4L, Aldred, Hunts, BB, B&S and Redback. I recently sourced a Redback Sunfire for a team-mate. Very impressed with that Sunfire.

Warsop, Robert Pack and Kippax are on my wish list.

I liked the one I bought at the begining of this year so much that I ended up getting another in the end of season sale. The one I bought at the begining of the year goes like a train so it'll be my go to bat for a long while.
