Anyone have any experience of using these?

Tried them on when they first came out in Aus and from memory they felt quite thin. Depends on how much protection you're looking for really...
-
Cheers. Would I maybe be better off looking at the TC 860s, perhaps?
-
I have the 1260 and rate them very very highly.
-
1260s are maybe a little out of my price range I'm afraid :(
-
The ranges are changing for 2016 though and the seasons end is almost upon us.
You may well find some 1260 in the bargain bin with a little patience.
-
That's the thing, patience! Ha. PDC have the 860s at £39 right now and the matching gloves at £27.50 which seems like OK value. Tempted to order and try them on and send back if they're not for me.
Anyone know how their pads stack up weight wise?
-
no experience of buying pads from PDC.
The above NB pads are i think the same design SS had some years ago used by a friend of mine...I think protection at them is very basic.
Recently got SS Matrix pads with foam inserts beside cane so the protection is not good. I recommend whatever you buy only with cane insert protection.

Went and ordered the TC 860s and the matching gloves on a whim only for them to come back and cancel it because they'd had concerns/issues about the address/postcode. Dunno what's suspicious about SE11 but hey ho!
