Title: Blueroom Bats 2015/2016
Post by: ProWannabe88 on August 26, 2015, 09:44:48 PM
You may or may not have seen some sneaky peeks on the likes of Facebook,  instagram and twitter this week. Rob has re designed the Blueroom Brand for 2015/16 and I wanted to show you gys the bats amd get some feedback.

I've heard whispers on the pack vine that the RPC brand may be getting a refresh as well. I know that was extremely popular when launched a few years ago. I'd like to know if you think it needs a change. If so what would you like to see from the RPC heritage range?

Enjoy the pics and let me know your thoughts guys. Any questions you know where to find me :)

Very nice eye catching designs.

Is it only the stickers that have been modified or have the profiles been tweaked as well? In saying that I don't recall seeing a RP Avalanche before.

Re posting the images as those links weren't meant to be like that haha. Bit orlf ring rust there.

Jaffa- the avalanche is a new profile :)

You can never ever have too many willow shavings in a bat photo.

Very much like the top middle bombora (pink one, seen it in blue and like that more) and the bottom selection of photos with the swell, avalanche and the other one. These designs with the black hatchings, and squiggles are pretty unique and tasteful to my way of thinking. The sticker designs of Bomboras either side of the pink one are less cohesive, a bit obtrusive even with the solid colours, long edging stickers and large writing, and verging on being a turn-off though I still have Bombara on my 'to get list'. The Storm in particular has an aboriginal art feel to it. Very individual, don't change that.

For the RPC brand, less sticker, more wood.

Have to say, I'm a product of the 'less is more' school of  thinking. I can appreciate why younger batsmen would find the branding appealing, but I'm not a fan of fussy designs and over-use of bright colours. To my mind, a 'heritage' range should keep things classy and minimal. Let the profile, cleft and workmanship do the talking.

The heritage RPC range does exactly that. These are the images of the Blueroom Bats from Robert pack. The RPC Heritage range is totally different :)

Oiled using our own special brew of oil.

I'm curious about this, how does your own "special brew of oil" differ from standard linseed oil and what benifits does it provide over linseed oil?
No doubt the bats are quality products but this oil sounds like hocus pocus.

That's a question you'll have to ask Rob fella. Keeps it close to his chest. Definitely different to the standard linseed stuff, doesn't even smell the same or look the same.  I've never asked him to be honest.

These exact bats are no longer available I'm afraid and they are a mix of bats used for the photos. You can always have one made up to match the one you like in the pics. Price all depends which option you choose.

Custom RPC or BR - 325.00
Elite - 260.00
Pro - 225.00
County - 199.00

If you have any specific requirements drop me a PM and we can discuss
