Title: who make's sangakarra's bats?
Post by: brokenbat on September 03, 2015, 10:19:36 PM
I can't tell from this pic, but no SS branding on toe, and the side branding is taped up

I think the tape is because of the new ICC regulations banning logos on the bottom half of the edges of the bat.

ah, right. could well be the case. the missing stamp on the toe got me curious.

The shape looks like an MG2 bat.

Yes, MG2 have made cricket bats for Sangakarra. I know someone who is sponsored by them.

If it was an MG2, there wouldn't be tape on the edge. Although I don't doubt they've made a bat for him in the past.

That's a lot of pennies!

^ Yes. And, when you use your credit card, some credit card companies return some of the pennies back to you -  will help you with your penny collection.

That definitely looks like a SS Ton series bat. Could be a TON reserve edition bat ....

this could be like the same with dhoni w/ spartan...?
we all know dhoni uses a bat w/ spartan branding whilst having a ton edge mark shown or hidden in times..
...sanga could well use a mg2 or some other bat makers with ton branding + stickers on them...

You missed my point... MG2 has no edge branding to cover up. Some other maker? Possibly. But not MG2 in this case.
