Title: Laminated bats
Post by: gaurav23 on September 05, 2015, 05:00:12 AM
Hello all. Can anyone help me with some info on laminated bats ?
1. How different are they to our regulation bats ping wise
2. Do they have a considerably shorter life
3. Should you oil & knock em in the same manner
4. Any particular criteria to look out for when selecting.
Thank you.

Are professionals still using laminates? Might explain Watson's hit into the stands yesterday

Don't think with all the scrutiny happening, they'd risk it. Low density+over dried clefts + unreasonable supply is satisfying them enough am sure !!

As they're illegal and I'm fairly certain kit gets checked, I'll confidently say they don't

The only laminate you can use is a bat that has been repaired with glue. Even then it's not really the same.
