Hello all
I'd appreciate your views on my latest purchase. Weighs in at 2.11. Thanks
The forum is certainly not helping my cause of saving up for a new Harley [emoji29][emoji16]

Any more pictures?
What grade was it sold as? The sticker has been removed so I'd be suspecting an upsale... (That's just me being cynical though)
Also I've never seen red GN stamps before, or the stamp that's a bit higher up (something willow)

Bought it from the factory here directly. It's a GN7 actually. I requested him to put a GN9 sticker actually so had to get rid of the current one.
Taps up really well.
All the bats there had the Pro-willow stamped at the same place mate.

Oh sorry. You won't probably know. We don't have test, players,L.E here in India. It's GN 1,5,7,9
All have Gray nicolls logo & Pro willow stamped for some weird reason !!

looks good. fairly straight grains, full, large profile. howver, blemishes are blatant, hard willow on inside edge (right-hand bat), not to my liking but new ball does fly off when hits there, add weight however, quite a heavy bat. 2, 9" is ideal weight.

I personally love heartwood on my inside edge, and bats that weigh about 2lb11/12.
A blemish free 2lb9 bat may be idea for you, but not everyone. In fact I know @smilley792 likes heartwood in the same place as me, but he thinks 2lb12 is too light!

I'm with you mate, 2.11/2.12 with a bit of heartwood somewhere on that bat. Unfortunately doesn't stop me chopping on like I did yesterday.

Great Purchase Gaurav!! Do you mind sharing where did you buy the bat from and what the price is?
-
@Sivlar13 if you chopped on it must be a defective bat, you best buy a new one to be on the safe side ;)

nice looking bat. i do really like the omega colour scheme and styling.
the only problem is that its far too light. need to be about 3.5lb to be a proper bat
