Bought this SG Cobra max few days back. Just got done knocking it.
Specs - 38mm edges, 55mm Spine height, weighs 2lb 9oz. mid to low sweet spot, as full as an Indian made can be.
Additional info would be that it's a very traditional face, didn't absorb the second coat of oil so not over dried for sure. Pings amazingly well & is very softly pressed.
P.S - for reasons unknown, my last purchase - a GN Omega bat didn't draw many comments. Good or bad, let it out guys. Might just help me & others for future purchases.
Thanks.

Looks good but if you want us to say something you need to show the profile :)
-
From that picture what can be said is nice looking bat with nice straight grains.
-
a few more pics of the bat, source of the bat & service experience & you'll see more comments coming in. Looks a decent bat, depends on how much you paid for it.
-
Some nice grains there, a few blemishes, what grade do they sell it as? Profile pics would be nice.
-
Bought it for around 90 pounds from a SG Authorised retailer here in India.
The only real blemish on the whole bat is on d back of the bat - spotless otherwise. Grains on the back are about equally aligned with the face on the bat.
The only error I made was that I spilled a few drops of a chemical on 1 side of d face, the marks of which just won't go. Don't intend to hard sand it but.

For 90 quid that is an absolute steal. Hope you get loads of runs from it.

I got a cobra max for around £80ish and it went really well.
If it wasnt for team mates continuously borrowing it, it would still be my main bat.
-
For the price looks to be a bargain - hope it plays as good as it looks!
-
90£ for a SG Cobra is a bargain. Here in Dubai, its close to 150£.
-
SG mid range bats are usually better value.
In UK you can get them from around £100 - £125
-
How does it tap up?
-
@gaurav23 did u get this specially for yourself or was this off the shelf? Is the convex shape on all the bats
-
Bought it off the shelf mate.
Unlike ever, SG ain't concaving it's bats at all. Even the aggressor series is very very full. I'd say it's the UK effect - good though.

It taps up pretty well her gerhard - I'd say it equals my 2.11 GN Omega but the GN is kinda harder pressed so I am expecting it to open up more.
