Title: Cricket shorts with integral pouch?
Post by: beaver5 on October 01, 2015, 01:18:07 PM
I'm looking for, as it says, training shorts with an integral pouch to put your box in. Duncan Fearnley's used to do them but not any more. Does anyone know of any manufacturer that makes them?

I want them for my school so the kits can be properly protected without going out and buying their own briefs. We could then lend them out, like football kit. Don't want to be lending pairs of briefs out, not sure the kids will like this either.

This has, strangely, been absent from the cricket market for a while - at least as far as I'm aware.  Maybe combat sports clothing shops offer something similar? Either way, a visit to Sports Direct would probably be my recommendation.

No not jock shorts. I'm after proper shorts. I've got a pair for training from my old club and you then don't need jocks.

basically you want club training shorts just with pouch... could be a new product for someone as adult players might find it useful too tbh

Yes just normal shorts with a pouch. I'm surprised they don't use them for hockey, but can't find any. The kids either provide their own or just don't bother which is very unsafe. I can't blame them as I wouldn't want to shove a shared box down my pants/boxers!
