Picked this bat up on eBay the other day for what I thought was a good price - can anyone tell me anything about it? Age, model, value etc?

A few still around I think it's from the 1995 but might be wrong Chris soulman will be your best bet to tell you more about it

I think your find that is the modern ajk this is the old one he bought out over ten years ago

You are correct Simon but pretty certain even ten years ago the Salix AJk bats we're made from the best performing clefts.

It certainly feels like it has a good amount of ping all the way through the length of the bat up to the bottom of the sticker. It won't get used in anger until winter nets but I'll let you know how I get on with it.

That's from circa 1999 and was I believe the top end AJK, couple of lovely ones of these on the walls of the Salix workshop.
