Title: Potential bargain buy?
Post by: pmiddl on October 23, 2015, 09:56:48 AM
I've just had a delivery of something I bought off eBay. Looks like a full set up, potentially someone who has given up the game or his missus has sold all his spare kit without him knowing! Any guesses on either what its true value could be or what I actually paid for it all?

Close. £54. Thought it could potentially be worth a little more if each separate item was given a value.

2nd hand goods (even if unused) aren't worth the same as if you got them in a shop due to warranties etc.

With that in mind, you've still got your money's worth and some more with that little lot. Decent purchase mate  :)
I love the look of that Apex too, nice weight as well

i was in for this, looked a good lot on ebay and looks just as good here - congrats - love a second hand bat, you don't have to worry about knocking them in, you can go straight in the nets and crack on, i've never found any company that really follows through on damage on new bats and the cost of them are mental these days (i'd rather buy 5 second hands rather than a new one i am worried about breaking/damaging as it may not be knocked in/played in etc. - mental logic i know!!!!) - so i go second hand all the time now!!

Thanks for the positive responses. I think I had probably done ok with that lot! Well if anyone is looking for any kit drop me a PM as the remainder of this will probably end up back on eBay anyway after I have taken out the bits I wanted!

Thats Apex is surely too light, best ebay that  ;)

It'd look lovely stripped down so there were no stickers and a white grip
