Hi,
After looking (with a view to purchase) at the GM softs for 2016, I was wondering what the difference(s) between the Original L.E and the 808 pads are. I noticed this with the gloves as well, the only difference I can see is in the price. Does anyone know what the differences are, as this would help with any future purchases.
Thanks in advance,

Quality of materials mainly. Palm leather and overflaps on the gloves. Bolsters and instep on pads. Gm give you a list of materials online detailing the differences

Gets asked all the time as GM have done this for a few years now.
The 808 is meant to be a visual replica but a technical takedown in terms of materials used and protection offer. Same with the Original and 606.
I can assure you the OLE are a superior pad, not to say the 808 is a bad product as it's fantastic for the price.

A bit of a technical chart, but all the info is in here
