Weve got some custom colour helmets on sale currently, as worn by Sangakkara and Johnny Bairstow to keep in previously + numerous others :D

To echo that I've worn my Ayrtek for keeping and found it to be excellent - light and never an obstruction...

Ditto!

Ive just updated the titanium version so they can now be purchased with a steel grille option instead if people want to spend sub £50 and get hold of one :)

Thanks for that all, very interesting option, will look into this!!
The only downside was it reminded me that I once 'won' an ayrtek helmet from a competition from all out cricket magazine only to be told after several emails that it 'had gone missing!!' instead they sent me some wisden magazines! Hence the disappointment flashback!!!

Could always rock the baseball mask, remember Ryan Campbell of Australia wearing one back in the day! Might cop a few sledges for it though.

This has or shortly will pass the tests according to Aero, due to arrive in stock in time for the 2016 season.

When was this? I can only apologise if that was the case as I've always fulfilled any competition prizes we have offered. Had I known about it I would have sent a replacement direct.

Sorry I wasn't meaning to sound disgruntled! I thought it more amusing!! It must be three or four years ago now ( would have to go through old emails!!) the problem was certainly with the magazine not you guys.

One of the guys at my club keeps in one of these. Swears by it and would never go back to keeping in a helmet.

I wonder why Shrey have started saying their keeping helmets are NOT suitable for batting.

Possibly because they offer less coverage to the back of your head (which provides better movement due to less obstruction). Probably a move to cover their own backs more than anything.

I expected so, too.
