wow! What a blade!
Love the sticker choice too :)
-
My first b3 and have to say I am very pleased with it. I will write a full review of the bat today but i just wanted to get the images out there for your viewing pleasure.
-
I adore the stickers, the lads at b3 make quality bats. Im so impressed by their work.
-
Lovely stickers and this bat is desirable ;)

What's the weight and specs please?

Weight is 2'12-2'13 but picks up closer to 2'10-2'11 i would say. Streaky would know better but going by the balance and pick up in my hands with one grip fitted. The edge size is 44mm a monster of a bat!!!
-
Lovely look bat mate and good choice on the stickers. B3 at its best.

Once I saw the picture of this bat shape as used by TCK I had to own one. For the price you pay it's a real stunning piece of willow @158 pounds can you go wrong?
I gave the guys a call and sent a few emails and ordered the Pepsi bat. I already had a good look at their range of stickers via instagram and thought the camo ones were my favourite. Something different but something that didn't shout look at me! The size of the bat does the shouting!
The bat arrived around 8 days later, wrapped up securely and very safely. I was in for a treat inside!
The pick up and balance for the size of the bat is a real surprise. You know it's a big bat but it feels balanced as any bat I already own at 2'10 and this b3 weighs around 2'12 -2'13.
The standard of finish I would say is what really is impressive. Its smooth all over, no sanding marks and crisp edges and stickers that are stuck on and not peeling off.
If any one is thinking about owning a b3 I would say yes get one! The performance from hitting it with a mallet feels excellent and will only improve the more I knock it in over the winter.
All for this kind of money you are getting real value. Thanks too the doctor and all at b3.

£158 seems cheap for a bespoke. Looks a massive bat but I thought the edges were meant to be 50mm?
-
I don't know I measured 45 mm but what's 5 mm amongst friends? It's a bargain mate, I'm very happy with it.

My last one stripe was spoke was 150, 8 pound may be postage or a slight price increase(I did buy last year)
Looks a cracking stick.

If I am not wrong, I believe the Doctor said 50mm in a crown cleft at 2.10.
-
8 quid postage is correct. Price is same I think.
-
nice shape!
stickers are brill! look like the SF D Smith ones. well cool!

Well my 1 stripe bespoke cost £190
Taken from the Pepsi thread,
Hi Chaps,
Keep on getting emailed the same questions, so thought a post on here would help.
These are only available in grades 1, 2 and 3, we do not have, and cannot get any in butterfly.
Miniumum weight for this bat is 2lb 12.5 oz and as discussed these do pick up a lot lighter.
You can alter the design (shape) as much as you like to get the weight down a little further, but this would be a BESPOKE design and would cost you an addition 50 pounds on the prices above that Chris has added (thanks mate).
If you want the same design but lighter, we can do the normal indian/pakistan tricks by making the bat thinner - harrow width (104mm) or have a shorter blade/LH.
I have made 6 of these for the showroom that I will pop up on here - grade/weight etc that you can pick from or we can obviously make to order no problem.
If you have any questions best to pop it on here - that way if somebody has a similar question they can have it answered straight away ;-)

Tck Pepsi bats will all have 50mm edges, regardless of grade.
-
a predesigned bespoke. Cost the same as a series. As streaky doesn't have to touch the cad.
So 1 stripe is 150.
A bespoke, either fresh design or alteration of another should cost 200 as streaky has to play with the cad files and figure out the calculations for weight etc.
As this is the Pepsi, designed by kohler Cadmore. We get it at series prices. So 150 for the 1 stripe.

What is the difference between a 1 stripe and a 3 stripe?

3 Stripes
This is the finest Grade 1 English willow that money can buy. Each cleft will have between 6 and 20 straight grains and only minor blemishes outside of the main playing area.
The weight, balance and density will be conducive to providing a bat that picks up lighter than it looks.
2 Stripes
High quality English willow with between 5 and 12 grains and may contain some light butterfly stain and there may also be pin knots but this will not affect the performance of your bat.
1 Stripe
Our 1 Stripe represents outstanding value for money as our entry level grade. The grain may not be straight in every case and will usually contain some pin knots which are all completely natural and only affect the bats appearance.

Thanks

I bought the first that was made I think. Went for a refurbishment and came out with a beast. It's massive and taps up awesome. I'll try to load some pics

Nice size handle and picks up like a 2-11 bat
Bounced a ball on it and it nearly went through the ceiling!!!

Did not you get a new ton too?

is this grade 2?

It doesn't look as high a middle in these pictures as I initially thought from the original photos. Love the shape, going to see if I can get shot of a couple from the collection to fund one of these
-
Nice, so do we see a performance review of the bats after you have played them in?
-
Yes but that won't be until nets start next year

Glad your happy with for t this shape does lend to a much lighter pick up indeed I went up from 2-8 to 2-12 last year and I ha e a 2-14 one not to distimillar to yours and it picks up incredibly well.
I think on terms of balance this is my favourite shape
-
AUS$ exchange rate is killing us over here in OZ at the moment, otherwise I'd order a Pepsi in a heartbeat. 12 months makes a difference and apparently the cost of bats for local manufacturers bats will rise next year by 10-15% too if it doesn't improve.
The TCK Pepsi looks a monster and id love to own one, that said I'll wait and hope our $AUS improves. My long handled and shortened Tonto butterfly will be getting a outing today and everyone i show it to cannot believe how well balanced it is for its size. I keep changing grips on it and have finally found the one i like and at 2:10.4 it picks up like 2:8.5. Luv my B3 gear.

Are these edges planed down to reduce weight?
Sorry for reviving an old thread
