Bat Canterbury Weapon 500 (No. 270)
Specs
- 2'11
- 10 Clean Grains, with a strip of Heartwood on the inside edge
- Mid/Low middle, with fairly big edges
- Nice thick handle, with a good pickup on the bat
Price In the Sale £100 Brand New! The shops RRP for it was £300!
Performance Can't say too much about the performance, as I only got it this morning and havn't used it, however hit a ball up with it and sounds very promising! Seems like the middle is huge with decent ping.

Hi Leo, some problem with my post on the Canterbury soft goods?
No I meant to quote you then say:
Naughty naught they should have been destroyed, as all Canterbury goods should not be being sold anymore.
But I clicked edit instead of quote so ended up losing your post.

Really like them Canterbury bats, pit pricey but I asked my kiwi mum to bring one when she would come to Europe
-
Saw this Canterbury with 50% off on ebay which would be useful for anyone who uses 2lb 10oz:

Does Canterbury offers other bats as well in their range or only the 500? they are quite hard to find.
Thanks
-
They no longer sell cricket kit, not even sure they sell clothing. The price of expanding too fast.
-
They went bust last year, They got taken over by JD sports
-
The European Arm did, not the whole company I believe.
-
yeah I know. I dont know about SA and NZ :/
-
i got a rare bat then :D
-
Pity, because their cricket clothing was actually pretty good.
-
Not that rare, I have one here and there are a few floating around.
-
yeah i suppose, but there were only 500 made and eventually they'll die out...
-
It's weird how with only 500 how many people on here have or have had one.
-
I just love their clothing line, might do some last minute orders soon and try to get my hand on one of those bats
