As much as I want to enter I'm not going to take an opportunity away from someone who will actually test it. My first net won't be until next March!!

Good luck everyone.

Dropped an email over - hope my dislike of dogs doesn't count against me ha! Would be interesting to compare whatever the new tech is against my standard DB1 for sure.

Is this for International members too?

We are playing one of the most prestigious corporate cricket tourney for IT professionals here in Bangalore, India. If given a chance can do the bat testing to the fullest.

Pranav Desai

Title: Re: Bat testing - WINNERS PICKED
Post by: The Doctor on November 23, 2015, 10:30:40 AM
Hi Chaps,

The winner (s) have been picked and will be receiving an email this morning.

Thats right I said winners - due to the over whelming response I havent counted yet but we got 100+ entrants I have decided to make another.

We are trialling a few things and should have some more bats for people to trial.

The question is - what random question to ask next......

My favourite dog (not that Mrs B. would let me get one) would be  a British Bulldog
My favourite biscuit (this is  areal tricky one) Oerio / chocolate hobnob / caramel digestive - all with a hot drink (coffee). Although like the retro custard cream / jammy dodger

Just like to point out Cakes go hard when old and biscuits soft - and on that logic Jaffa Cakes are as per the name - A CAKE!! ;-)

Streaky

Title: Re: Bat testing
Post by: RF on January 07, 2016, 01:01:45 PM
I've used mine quite a lot in the last few weeks and it's a decent bat.  The more I play with it the better it's getting actually.

The bat has had some cracks that B3 have repaired with a new type of glue hence the reason for the testing.

The glue has been solid, none of the cracks have opened up again and if the cracks were covered by stickers you wouldn't know they were there.

Thanks Dave, would the summary be made available to us general public or was this more of an internal R&D?

Thanks Dave, would the summary be made available to us general public or was this more of an internal R&D?

They can say what they want the trials, The bats where lower grade in most cases and we are just looking into things so not sure but think it more a internal thing as the people receiving the bats don't always know what we did...
