This is an interesting one:
The manufacturers in India call it Red willow/poplar (and explicitly state it's not English Willow) in the export documentation
(http://i.imgur.com/wZa0XJN.png)
GN sell it in the UK with a grain print face on it, and it's G5 English willow

Who's right?

Interesting, I would have guessed it'd be a sports direct special but your links obviously prove otherwise. I'm surprised the quantities are that low too actually.
Maybe they're English willow nurtured in India? And the description is just a little off?

A company will usually take a few drops of gear, there were more shipped out in October and November.
It could just be a lost in translation thing, or maybe the wrong thing was noted down but after the whole M&H episode I found this interesting.

Yeah good point.
Just had a quick search for 'Poplar Willow' - it certainly exists for lower end bats;

And no it isn't a grain print sheet as mentioned above. :)

That's cracking that, looks exactly how I'd want a blade to look . Sadly at 6'2" I'm a bit big for a size 5. Very lucky junior getting that one

Can you please share the profile pic of 2016 powerbow bats ?

We have 5-6 bats like the following, can't even count the grains there are so many, similarly Junior bats also have the similar grains
