I live in Trinidad, and have been following the regionally tournament closely, apparently the pitch was an absolute minefield! Scores for the game were LI 27 & 170 and WI 140 & 56/2. Windwards won by 8 wickets with the game finishing inside two days!

I understand that sort of tactical declaration on a drying pitch, but surely it makes no sense if it's just a horrific wicket, other than as a form of protest?

The logic behind the declration, I think, was that because the pitch was playing so badly and the last three batsmen being the bowlers, it seems as the LI management didn't want to risk an injury to them....
