Thought I'd put a 'review' of sorts up, because I'm pretty sure I'm of the few to get my hands on one of these bad boys. Top marks to @ItsJustCricket for sorting it, after a few emails I was OK to pick it up tonight after they'd done their own video review, so top customer service from them. Had a quick chat with Paul and Amos who also sang their own praises for it, and understandably so.
First off, the bag is masssssssssive. I'm not a wicketkeeper but it'll quite comfortably take a whole kit. Here it getting warmed up by taking my food shop from Tesco. Beneath the bread is a load of other food. Love the gunmetal/blue colour scheme that GN have gone with for the Supernova range.

Starting off properly with main compartment I've fitted in gloves, pads and my Premiertek down at the bottom, as you can see it'll take a set of keepers pads and a few more bits comfortably.

Really like how the bat compartment has it's own little section, as you can see I've got the MC4000 I picked up from @Vitas Cricket and a cheap Kookaburra from SD that did the job over the summer. Velcro separators keep it all nice and neat, but you can undo these if you wish.

I'd say the side compartments are quite deceiving in how much space is inside each of them. I don't have much by way of 'accessories' but on the left I've just lobbed some balls in there and I imagine many of you would chuck in grip tape, glove inners and so on so forth. Right side I've gone for the box and P2 strippers. Also useful that both sides have some form of ventilation at the top, very useful.

Valuables pouch at the front, does what it says on the tin. As you can see the drinks bottle bit on the side also super great

Shoe compartment fits shoes, is ventilated etc. A little bit of a squeeze to get in as my helmet was at the bottom of the compartment, but not really an issue.

I wasn't sure at first that the front compartment would take all my clothes, but I'm a fool; jumper, shirt, trousers, socks, briefs, all fine. It might be a tight squeeze if you wanted to get a towel for showering, but again, it could go elsewhere. Again, ventilated which should help the bag with it's err, scent.

Bag stands up with all the kit inside, definitely useful when you're playing a smaller changing room. Also padding along the back feels nice and comfortable and you can't feel the bats digging into your back at any point. Also whilst you can't see it well the handle feels sturdy if you want to carry it around like a holdall.

Overall, fantastic bag and I can't really fault it at all and I expect many others to get one and agree with it. You might argue about it's price but I can see this being the bag I own for years and years and years to come.
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I love my GN1000 duffle as it's about the perfect size.
This bad boy looks awesome, but may suffer from the too much room problem that the Red Ink duffle has, where it encourages you to carry more crap in an attempt to fill it.
Very good review pal, hope it serves you well :)

I've pre-ordered mine from Talent Xricket so should be getting it at the end of the month!!!

just out of curiosity - how did you guys decide between this and the Kook KD 5000?
-
Few quid cheaper, available to me now (I'm 5 minutes from IJC), positive words from all the retailers on here. Also don't like the colour schemes of the Kook's either...
-
Kooks look too shiny and ugly shaped

IJC's review is up on you tube now, looks like a cracking bag

i cannot see the pics..only a grey circle :(

The photos are all definitely there!

Would be nice to get a comparison between this and the Kook Pro Players duffle from last season.
-
Just watched Paul's YouTube video
Does a duffle really need to carry 3 bats? That almost defeats the idea of a small bag you can carry on you back, doesn't it? Not that I don't like that feature! It's almost as if they're targeting forum members with these designs lol
Having thought the GN1000 was the bag for me, the Supernova may be that step closer to perfection. Small dimensions, plenty of room, loads of pockets and an almost flawless layout. It's amazing how they utilise the space with this one.

Check IJC review of the duffel bag. I would take this bag over any other duffel just the looks of the bag. Dark colored scheme works really well when compared with the flashy Kook Pro duffel.
-
Looks brilliant definitely on my christmas list!

Really good review. Good to take on board as I'm tempted to change duffle despite only buying one last month! Hence...

@WalkingWicket37 would you choose the GN1000 over the Red Ink? I bought the Red Ink one and have a similar problem in that it's far too big, tempted to swap to the GN1000 purely because it seems a little more compact.
-
@Mr_Orange i have chosen the GN1000 over the red ink mate.
The Red Ink is no doubt an excellent bag, but I did not need all the room. The GN1000 is big enough for all my kit but doesn't have a load of space left over, so is pretty much what I was after

@Vitas Cricket @ItsJustCricket => Do you have these bags already in stock or expecting delivery from GN ?

How low do these bags sit on your back? Asking as i ride a sportsbike to my games so if the bag is sitting past my bum might be the same issue i have with my standard kit now.
