Kookaburra have at last had a sizeable enough delivery to provide a good selection for those of us who like to hand select our bats. The container arrived today, will be processed by Kookaburra on Monday and we'll be in there sniffing round the new boxes on Tuesday.
If you want something specific do let me know, feel free to call 01733 201144, pm me on the forum or email jake@vitascricket.co.uk. Time is of the essence as I am away early next week and won't be going to Kook myself, Robin is going alone, so if you want to arrange something please do get it sorted over the weekend :)

Jake, do you have the kook softs in yet? Haven't seen anything on the website.

We have some softs in stock now yes.
Website is on a lengthy to do list!
First priority is sorting, pricing, displaying and tidying up after well over 700 kilos of stock arrived this week. Not to mention still catching up with the black friday backlog. Will do our best :)

So Robin went to Kookaburra on Tuesday to select the first part of our order. We are still awaiting a few models, notably the Blade and certain grades of the Onyx and Verve, and we will be returning soon to select them. By and large there was a wide selection and plenty of quality willow to choose from on Tuesday and it was great to be selecting from a number of unopened boxes. The advantage of buying your Kookaburra with us is our close proximity and fantastic working relationship with the brand, meaning we are able to pop over to Corby at the drop of a hat to select bats for customers. In the past i've been there in the early afternoon having that morning taken an order for a bat which could not be satisfied from our stock.
Sorry for the iffy photos, i swear the camera gets worse with every 'improved' new iphone. 6s is the worst yet!

As i said we've still got more to come and will be going back next week, or early the week after, but here are a few snaps of some of the bats we have taken so far. Including some really lovely Small Mens sized Kahuna Pros

Particularly impressive were the entry level English Willow bats in all the ranges, fantastic light weights and decent looking bats, these are quite typical of what he have selected from these grades and are priced left to right at £95, £105, £110 and £120.

Looking good Jake, especially the lower grade bats. Do the cheaper models still use those nasty cheap stickers?

The quality of the stickers seems quite consistent across the grades.

Yes no problem, the 2 models are quite far apart in terms of price point, i'll need to see if we have any Ignite bats as heavy as 2'10 to be honest, but we defeinitely have some lovely full profile ghosts at that weight.
Please send me an email jake@vitascricket.co.uk so i can flag it and remind myself tomorrow :)
