Title: Cricket Christmas presents 2015
Post by: tim2000s on December 23, 2015, 01:47:53 PM
I've seen a few topics where people have mentioned buying themselves a few Christmas presents for 2015 Christmas, so I wondered what people have gone for and what everyone is being bought?

I've decided to field trial the new Ayrtek helmet so that's my pressie to me. What's yours? Are you expecting something exciting and cricket shaped from family or friends? Tell all!

A H4L bat sleeve haha and a B3 Pepsi but it's not coming until the new year! Bought my brother a GN Duffle for Xmas if that counts!

Ayrtek field trial also(although not sure if it will arrive before Xmas). Got a net 27th and 30th so it will get a run out there.

Bought myself the thin edge Warner with the works Xmas bonus so that counts I think.!

Got this for myself. The missus is surprised I haven't opened it yet. Little does she know it has had 2 coats of oil. Ready to knock in on Christmas Day. The bang bang bang of the mallet on willow is an excellent way of getting rid of the family on Christmas Day.

Got the Tonto changed a few things and added 1271 Trott shoulders and make a massive bill countering extra weight in the shoulders and ducking it.

Result I like it streaky not sure but as I tell him leave it to me

Think my days of creating new stuff is over can't really beat for my personal choice Tonto or xlphon for me had a blast doing it.

Looks like AllRounder are running one - not a forum sponsor, but I guess others will be if they are. I would say seems good (promised up to 60% off in general and up to 25% off 2016 stuff), but the link on the website doesn't work, so you can't view it! Some IT Guru is now in trouble haha!

Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get any cricket-related presents.. However, my generosity got the better of me with my family as I gifted my two brothers some absolute beauties of bats; Original LE GM Icon, and Kippax Pureblade. Followed by my old man getting a GM Original Octane. All perfectly well, but I am supposed to be a student  :(  :o

Yeah i went to rearange mine and it turns out where the divider goes in is too low down for pads to fit in. But i then discovered after months of not using the bag and being in the boot of my car untouch one of the zips has come away from the material. Not even had it a year, sent GM an email see what they will do.

Yeah i went to rearange mine and it turns out where the divider goes in is too low down for pads to fit in. But i then discovered after months of not using the bag and being in the boot of my car untouch one of the zips has come away from the material. Not even had it a year, sent GM an email see what they will do.

This happened with mine too! Returned back to PDC and instead got the TON duffle from Asad at Uzi.
