Gorgeous. Thanks for the graingasm!
-
Would you mind telling me the price of these two beauties?? ;)
-
Amazing, love the engraving and simplicity. How's the rebound compared to your other bats?
Hope they serve you well.

@Cover_Drive rebound is really really good compared with my other bats, they are as good as Laver and wood Signature. They are very soft pressed and hardly took anytime to open

@TIAANB12 they are expensive top of the range in GN

@ursmasti
Thank you for your swift response. They looks fabulous, surprised to hear them being softer pressed as in past I didn't notice them being on softer side.
Perhaps insignificant but are they English made?
-
Absolutely fabulous looking willow

@Cover_Drive Yes they are English made got them from Vitas Cricket and It's Just Cricket. Reason i say soft pressed is all it took 2 hrs knocking and they are for the nets .
-
Stunning
-
So which performs better or are they on par?

tough to say mate , both are good.
-
Everything is right about these right up to the "one legend just won't be enough, I need two."
This is the attitude the forum likes to see.
I am looking forward to the next thread where you show off the matching pads, gloves and bag...
-
I think you have collection worth drooling for. Legends, ss players, lavers... I am just dreaming to own one player's bat.
Wondeful bat sir :)
-
Absolute Stunners who cares about the price it's the enjoyment that counts
-
Is it wrong to have wood in my hand while looking at these 2 stunners?
-
Wow! 2 of the best looking bats I've seen for a while, hope they go well for you.
-
YES VERY WRONG
-
Blooming stunning looking bats. I'd use one and keep the other in pristine condition just to keep looking at!
-
Pure class. Loving the simplistic stickers and the way the wood speaks for itself!
Sendt fra min ONE E1003 med Tapatalk

Oh. My. God.
Those are bat porn in every sense!
I love them, but personally think tthey'd look perfect with white grips.
I hope they serve you well mate, it may be just me here but I'd be scared to use a bat that cost that much :-[
-
Forget the cost appreciate the Product
-
A couple of stunners there mate. Great to see them looking like top end bats should look, some of the LE or test bats iv seen from GN have been disappointing. Goes to show what you can get from hand picking as both are amazing.

Looks grade two mate, did you see the tiny tiny blemish on the back,,, awful send them back or alternatively I will take them off your hands for 30 pounds a christmas carol?
-
Legends are unbelievably gorgeous

I need to be alone for a while after seeing these :D
I'd want to frame those so I could admire them every time I'm at my desk
-
Absolute stunners those, but I gotta agree on the grip front, I'd have to have black or white I think, other than that they're gorgeous!
-
Merry Christmas indeed! Some drool just landed on my kindle screen!
-
Now they are proper bats would change the grips though
-
Oh the grips are the only thing that spoil that!
Stunning bats though
-
Amazing looking sticks
Hope they play as well as they look... If so you are in for a treat
-
Gotta agree re the grips, kinda like putting plastic hub caps on an Aston Martin...
Stunning bats though, happy the man who can splurge on those this time of year!
-
Outstanding bats, very envious of your collection mate
-
My god, they look lovely !
-
Rude!So Rude! Why did you post those pic, why?
-
The grips are truly hideous!
But those bats are stunning!
And glad they play as well as they look
-
Now that's how all Legend bats should look like ...top buy
-
Those bats are stunning, not a blemish in sight! Is that the standard of Legends this year or were those two the cream of the crop? Maybe @ItsJustCricket & @Vitas Cricket could let us know?

We picked three, that one was a level above in terms of looks: the other two are belters in their own right and all are big for the weight!
-
What weight range is normally there to pick from Jake? Sort of 2.8-2.10?
-
Both bats look stunning that's for sure and if they are made in the uk that's even better as if that's now true I would really like to own one as they are lovely looking bats that's for sure
-
Jesus, looks like someone has drawn the grains on with a ruler!
-
I agree with all of you regarding grips, i took one of them out to add second grip and original grip got damaged. if i have any complaint on legend then it is the grips very bad quality. i am after some salix black grips till then i will have those yellow and orange grips.
@simonmay5 - i am not sure whether they are made in India or uk .. i will let @Vitas Cricket and @ItsJustCricket comment on it . Reason i never asked them is i trust the quality of bats both of the carry and hand picking them makes it even better.
-

I have to agree with you on this

Simon these are not made in UK, We picked few for our preorder customers and now have 1 left, perhaps you can test it when you visit us in the new year

Would love to Asad it's such a shame that a flagship model not being made in the uk as the bat I have which is uk made I never found another gn near that quality which is a real shame
-
Crickey. Not one, but two sticks worthy of any collection.
Everything about them is just right. (Grips aside). Who needs distractingly flashy stickers when you have beautiful willow like that? Thanks for posting.
-
@ursmasti, couldn't stop revisiting this post!
-
White spirals on those and they'd be perfect
-
I was thinking Red and let them merge into the stickers - colour coordinated ;)

We do not soft press. Each piece of wood is pressed for optimum rebound. This cannot be done softly.
Glad you like the bats, they are stunners!!

But it can be pressed softer or "lighter" than the next bat for optimum performance no? Or are all GN bats pressed at the same pressure?

No two bats are pressed the same, each piece of wood compresses differently at different amounts of pressure. that is the part of the skill in being a bat maker.
Soft press, soft wood = no performance.

If there all pressed for optimum performance, how would the next bat be pressed lighter for optimum performance? Are you after optimum optimum performance number 4? Or optimumumumum performance?
-

I think that is possibly the most crystal clear explanation I have seen!
-

Ok so all of your bats are pressed with exactly the same pressure even though bat makers seem to tell us each bat is individually pressed for optimum performance which is different for each cleft and that makes ALL bats optimum performance the same. Hmmm interesting concept
-
Each blade presses differently, each piece of wood responds to a different pressure, the skill is in the bat maker knowing when that piece of timber has reached its best compressed point. I do not think it could be much clearer.
I think I shall just copy and paste this each time from now on until people listen.
-

I thought it was pretty clear what he meant, even if the question was pretty much rhetorical.
-
Did read on here when some say softer they may mean lighter for optimum performance

Which is pretty much exactly what I said....

I now have white spirals on them .
-
I dont care how its pressed ... where its pressed ...how much pressure ... which type of pressure .... all i care is does it perform well or not ... :) :D
-
Probably 2 of the best looking bats I have ever seen. Love looking at this thread.

That is an oxymoron, if ever there was one... ;)
