The subject field, says everything :)
For my new bat without stickers, should I oil and knock it in, before putting stickers on?
-
no i did this and it took ages for the willow to dry out! and the stickers wont stick on properly!
-
I would put the stickers on and then oil
-
Thanks, I will to

I would Oil (wait two days), knock in, then apply stickers. Gives max time for oil to dry out and ensures you don't spill oil on stickers.
Remember not to oil the splice!
-
Then oil on both sides? The splice is the handle right? or what? (I'm Danish :))

its the 'V' that connects the handle to bat
-
Yeah splice is that dark V at the top of the bat, if you oil this area the glue can weaken.
-
Can I use contact glue, to make the stickers stick? I have tried to put the stickers on after putting the oil on, but it wont stick.
-
Let the oil soak into the wood. you should have put the stickers on before and just let it soak in and if they dont stick use some glue to stick them on

It have dried for 2 days, thought it was good enough

Try using a hair dryer on the stickers,it heats the adesive on the stickers
