With the new year comes the re-launch of us as a brand under our own name again. We're excited about what we have in store for 2016 and can't wait to get going.

Are you doing softs again Tomothy?
-
Brucey, it's a possibility but not confirmed as yet as we have a few other projects outside of cricket on the go that will need Focusing on 1st.
I guess it all depends if their is a demand for them ???

Thanks chaps, we are selling through the remaining non 2013 compliant stock that we have in order to free up space for the new model(s) that we will launching once we have everything ready shortly.
We are working with a certain @StrettonFox Sports on the Nek-Tek and hope to be able to reveal a 1st look at this shortly for those that are interested in this additional protection. It will fit all the models of helmet that we have previously sold as well as the new models going forward so it can be retro-fitted if desired.
Its been a busy few months as the vast majority of my time has been taken up by a venture we have made in the military market and as a 1 man company it obviously eats up time trying to juggle everything between the cricket, military and a few other sectors we are working upon. Plus the arrival of a new family member in early Sept thats keeping me rather busy :D
As always thanks for your support and here's to a busy 2016!

Little forum exclusive preview of what we've been working on with the Nek-Tek product. Materials wise it will obviously be constructed of a high impact absorbent foam with additional protection in the areas deemed vulnerable.
In our own special way we wanted to push the boundaries of what's possible with the look and finish of them if people want to add their own mark.
We should have 1st iteration samples finished shortly that I'll upload some actual pics of for viewing.
They will be attached to the grille via a Velcro system taking on the Stretton Fox thigh pad type method.
Keep an eye out for a pre-order discount that were looking to roll out for those interested in purchasing the product.

Will there be an option for a plain coloured 'nek-tek' to match the helmets? Rather than a branded one?
-
@neoncricket Adam yes ironing out the branding with George this week as obviously some people will want a minimalist look which is viable and others will want something a little more "jazzy".
We're working on a couple of versions currently so as things develop we will keep everyone updated. Stock option will in all likelihood be black with black Ayrtek font on the exterior and Nek-TeK interior wording. So it's more subtle from afar.
-
Tom are you going to go back to having all of the range of helmets having the ACIS technology liner or is it not financially viable?
-
@Number4 it's a model were considering reintroducing but it would be later on in the year as each new model needs submitting for testing which typically requires 30x each helmet to be sent in. Also the testing comes at a cost which isn't exactly cheap!
We've started with our most popular selling helmet to ensure we get the formula correct in regards to materials and grille spec/design which will give us feedback and aid us in fast tracking subsequent models we submit.
-
Sounds good!
-
Cool... I've never worn a helmet in my 35 years of playing cricket but I'd love to give an Ayrtek a go before I call it a day.... And my son would like it to cause he would get my hand me down ;)
-
I tell a lie... I did wear one once.. It was one of the Perspex visor ones... Who remembers those? Lol
-
Haha being at the ripe old age of 33 it was thankfully before my time 😜
We've got a couple of ACIS helmets left in stock in the sale that would tick the box and the new 2013 design grille would fit on them.
-
Little preview of the "stock" versions appearance.

On pre-order now, price seems much fairer than the elusive stemguard
-
These compatible with the Adidas Rawtek with the pump liner? Can't get cheaper postage to Oz?
-
@sarg yes they will fit into existing adidas/Ayrtek models. I'll confirm a price inc delivery to Oz for you now.
-
@sarg the most cost effective method is via Royal Mail tracked that costs £10. So in total it would be would £25 for the NekTek + £10 for P&P = £35 in total.
ill try and work out a method on the website of customising the postage for smaller items overseas.
if you do want to order one in the mean time please let me know and I can raise an order manually for you.
-
I just got home from cricket training and was drafting a pm with my address.
Love my helmet. Picked it up for around £120 in a run out and was so happy. Best helmet i've ever owned.....and its the second I've owned lol...but i tried on the competition and didn't like the weight. With the air liner its like wearing a hat and i'm old school and wear my baggy if i can, but with this helmet I prefer it to a hat when batting. Not silly enough to volunteer for short leg so I can field with it on though
I was so excited when i saw the additional piece of safety to add, I jumped online and was bummed out when the postage was double the price of the standard. This has made my day. I'll pm you now.
