Hi Everyone,
GN have leg hugging (depending on the size of the "average leg") ;) batting pads but does anyone know of other makers pads that hug ( cane inserts only and not moulded) the leg rather than being quite bulky when worn (like GM seem to be?).
I was hoping some of our friends over in India/Pakistan could give me the "heads up" on brands like SF, SM, BAS etc
Thanks

Don't pads just wrap around your legs when they are worn in?

Spot on Buzz however there are certain pads that are less bulky even when well worn in. Of course there are the pre moulded (aero etc) but I was looking for a cane insert pad that wraps around "tightly " like the GN does and therefore less bulky.
My son had B&S pads last year (and well worn in after 70 games and at least 1 practice a week). These where after 2 years of wearing morrants. His thoughts were after trying some GN's on was that they fit more like the moulded pads.
So I was wondering if anyone knew how well other brands fitted before I get some GN's.

I have played with the BAS players last season. Comfortable , light and not at all bulky. Tried on the GM original LE today in the new all rounder shop in Sheffield ( a shop full of planks bar on Spartan Gayle bat that was huge,no concaving, a light) I was expecting pads to be a level above the BAS but no where near on all levels of comfort, lightness and £45 more a set. Seriously worth looking at.
