Title: Aus out of u19 WC
Post by: Batbuddy99 on January 05, 2016, 07:04:06 PM
For security concerns

The senior team pulled out earlier last year, and so did their football (soccer) team soon after
Do they know something nobody else does considering the overseas players in the BPL? Or Paranoia?

Strange if no one else is making a similar decision but it certainly won't have been made lightly

Real shame for the players though who are missing out on what would have a been a great experience

I don't think its paranoia. There has been specific threat against Australian citizens in Bangladesh, atleast that's what aussie govt intelligence reports say. So i would think they are justified in choosing the safer option.
