Title: What bag?!
Post by: dcullen8 on January 09, 2016, 11:53:07 PM
Having found this forum ive found my love for cricket coming back to me, unfortunately that means many additions of kit to an already overflowing Salix Duffle. Are there any reasonably priced bags which would hold 2 bats, full batting equipment, keeping gear, spikes and 2 sets of whites?

Depends what you mean by 'reasonably'.

If I were you I'd just splash the cash and go all in on the GN Supernova

A supernova certainly isnt out the window, the duffle especially. Having outgrown my lid and keeping gear that's taken a big chunk out of the funds and ideally id try save some money on a bag.. Although its a while before the season starts so there might be room to manouvre some funds around i guess!

You could take a look at GN Sportsbay they currently have an icon wheelie at 14.99

Owning a supernova (#teamsupernova) it is a great big duffle with plenty of room. Lovely looks and easy to carry without shouldpains.
That being said, why of why the designers chose for the outer pockets to use space inside the duffle is beyond me. Makes the exterior pockets rather useless. (Or am i doing it wrong?)

Original duffles were one big pocket. People moaned as it was a lottery trying to find your kit.

The tunnel method, I.e out pockets that go into main, men's you can separate things, and pack as you wish. Still maintains the same space.
As adding pockets onto the side that doesn't enter the middle will make it humongous.

It's nothing new, wheelies have had pockets that tunnel into the  main compartment space for years.

It's not meant to create extra space. Just to help organizing things better

Well, then I did it wrong - Kudos!

Supernova duffle or supernova top end bag? Do they both have compartments? Which would people recommend?
