Title: Refurbished 3 Stripe
Post by: Nmcgee on January 11, 2016, 09:01:59 AM
Just received my refurbished 3 stripe from David and the folks at B3. Safe to say I'm thrilled with the bat and the quality of work from B3. I bought this one on the forum and had B3 give her a full refurb and small weight reduction before sending over to Sydney.

Cracking bat J  :)

She is indeed mate, delighted you're happy with it, looks fantastic post-refurb!

What's the weight now?

Came up looking quite good. How did the crack and feathering come up?

Judging from Nathan's post I assume pretty darn good.  Especially if he had the extra 1/4 inch taken off...

When I personally took it into B3 for the refurb and posting they said the wear wasn't an issue at all

I'm pretty happy with the work done. I couldn't ask for anything more in a refurbishment to be honest. The finishing is first class.

It's 2.8 now. Custom handle is great and the pick up is excellent. I'm sure I'll get some good life out of her.

Posted 5th of January and received today. Turn around time from B3 was good too.

B3's turnaround time seems to be top class, never heard an issue with it to be honest.  That may be affected by the demand recently, but a week's postage to the other side of the globe at a very competitive price seems excellent to me.

Good to see you've also got exactly the same grip I had on it for its limited use last season and the double grip on the bottom hand...

I never said there was an issue with B3. The tracking on parcel monkey is a total waste of time and I was asking Nmcgee who it came on so I can check it out. Only if it's ok with you of course. Geez!!!

Classic case of not being able to read mood or tone on email/message I'm afraid.  Absolutely no intention of negativity from me in that post - I meant to say that, for Nathan, a week's turnaround is excellent and had absolutely no gripe with your comment at all.  I didn't take any negative tone from your post, unfortunate that you did with mine, it wasn't intended as such.
