Just read the news on the BBC Sport site that Napier is to retire after this season. One of my favourite players of recent times and really think he should have played for England in one or both of the one day formats.
In a period where England would choose 2 or 3 all rounders for the ODI side he was unlucky not to get a go.
Any other county players you'd like to have seen given a shout at international level?

Pete Trego can maybe consider himself unfortunate not to have featured internationally with the form he was in a few seasons back.

his big t20 innings certainly gained him publicity and a contract for the IPL which im sure he enjoyed

Yes, nice to see him reap some benefits, play against his brother from time to time at t20.
