Evening chaps,
Due to never really having an off season, my body at all of 22 years of age has suddenly become made of glass.
Over the last few months, i've torn both sets of ankle ligaments and muscles in the areas. When playing rugby they are held together by more taping than the last bodgit builder you had round!

My shoulder has now started playing up, I currently struggle to do a full rotation, the main source of pain comes from where my collar bone joins into my shoulder, does anyone know if this is a rotator cuff area? I can't get to see my osteopath for a couple of weeks
Any help would be great
Cheers
Lee

Rest and taking care. Human body is pretty amazing but needs looking after. Non weight bearing such as swimming, when ready, is sensible. Finding a good rehab specialist is critical.
Take care and don't rush back!

It's called the acromio clavicular joint. And not per say part of the cuff. The cuff being the muscles controlling the, yes you guess it, rotation of the humerus.
I won't even dare to say what's wrong, but as suggested, rest and rehab. Treat your body like a temple, and I looks like you need to tape your foot better, if you're not gonna take torn ligaments seriously.

That's exactly how mine is strapped, just doesn't look as neat and tidy!
I find rest difficult, in the job I do its a struggle

I'll be fit for the season, don't panic about that one mate! That photo isn't even me at my worse ha, Sunday morning I won't be able to walk this week! Playing rugby against a university tomorrow weather permitting, but all the hunnies come out and watch the rugby so when they see my playing ability I'll inevitably have pulled within the first 20 of the game

I've had to retire from rugby this season, I'm waiting for my second back op within 5 years. I'd hazard a guess you're in the pack if you're always carrying some sort of knock! I used to be like that, but as soon as whistle goes forget the pain, until Sunday!
