Approximately how much weight would a double bind add to a bat? Trying to decide to go two grips or double bind??
Thanks..

Double thickness grip may work too.

not sure exactly on the weight but at the suggestion of paul aldred I had double bind on my current bat instead of 2 grips I normally use and find it better

I think it's an oz

Around a ounce I have a special bat at home with a double bind
2 grips I tend to find twist double bind doesn't
However most my bats have 1 bind 1 grip

Agree with whats being said here. And dont worry about the weight because the weight is getting added at the top and the bat might pickup even lighter

About an ounce, as most people have said. Grip weights are usually 1.5 oz or higher, so this adds less weight. Also, you won't get one grip twisting over another.
I have actually found that adding an extra thick bind (can find them at hardware stores) doesn't add much more weight - so that may be another option for you.

I actually took both my grips off today, weighed it at 2lb 8.7oz
Added both grips came out 2lb 11.7oz so would say 1.5oz per grip is pretty accurate
