Title: Medium-Heavy Bats & Scuff Sheet
Post by: InternalTraining on January 24, 2016, 10:09:23 PM
For medium-heavy bats in the range of 2-11 to 2-13, do you use a scuff sheet on the bat face or just leave the face natural? One of my bats seems pretty hard pressed and hasn't shown any seam marks in the nets either. I am contemplating putting a scuff sheet which will increase the weight of the bat. What do you think?

Scuff sheet has to be fairly negligible in terms of overall weight in you're already using something that heavy.

Scuffs have made no negligible difference on bats I use weighin 2.13 and upwards

I only tend to fit one once the face has started to crack mind.

A scuff sheet weighs next to nothing compared to the bat, and spreads the little weight it does add over a fairly large area.
Just wack one on to protect the willow, you won't even know it's there when you're waving the bat around  :)
