Recently got my bat out of storage only forgot to put it in its cover, when I found it a sticker had attached itself to the blade, when peeled off carefully I may add but I could only peel up he blade toward the handle this appeared, any ideas what the best action would be? I'm thinking just bat tape round the blade or would a little wood glue also help? I think it's purely cosmetic but not really sure (http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160131/cbd8818f2ea4ae1caf0357831ccbde0f.jpg)(http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160131/5d4309e7365a8feb1495cd9530d2d425.jpg)

Alex, leave it with me Tues. It could be glued or just sanded out.

An easy solution would be remove all frays and sandpaper damage areas smooth

Don't pull the strips anymore as it could become deeper. Ideally, use a random orbital sander to smooth out the wood.

That's terminal, best buy a new one mate... ;)

Haha if I could afford too I would! But I also wanna learn how to do repairs!

Cut the strips with a scissors, sand it down and tape it up
