Title: Ayrtek Premiertek Fit
Post by: joeyfivebags on February 06, 2016, 01:31:11 PM
Looking for some advice on fit of the ayrteks that use the EPS liner, managed to get a good fit at the sides using the larger pads but still have some forward/backward movement.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

We offer thicker "Youth" size padding if you need it via our webshop:-

My son has one of these helmets (a trial one from the AYRTEK board ) and initially I thought it would never fit properly but I did speak to Tom before receiving the helmet and he sent a variety of padding with the helmet. I spent a bit of time using small Velcro pads to be able to stick the padding together and then used different "custom" thicknesses as required. The fit is now really good. His old helmet was a junior GN helmet with adjustable band, he was always messing with this helmet as to stop it moving the band needed to be really tight but that hurt his head after a few minutes. The Ayrtek is solid, doesn't move and he says the visibility is so much better (this is with the new spec fixed grill).
Take your time, layer the padding if needed and I am sure you will get a good comfy fit.
