Would be interesting to know where people have their middles, their height and the type of bat.
-
Mid - low, 6'4", oblivion e41.
-
Wouldn't have a clue, I only use the toe and the edges :-[
-
Used the crictech sheets, and measures all the cracks in my bat, was around 14 to 20cm so had a bespoke bat made at b3, with the bulk and middle put here. Used the b3 last season and had my best season ever.

Below the top and above the bottom 🙈🎣🙈🎣🙈🎣🙈
-
I really could not tell you as I have to many bats 🙈
-
Took a couple of rough measurements and it's around 220mm
Mid to high middle, 5'7 - f18, rk, red ink, b3.
-
Is there a way of calculating this to the millimetre? or do you just measure to the thickest point?

Either look at the spine or tap up with a mallet. It only has to be to the nearest cm, not to the mm ;)

I like this idea alot

Halfway up from the bottom of the bat
-
I have never found it.
-
two inch from toe to around just under the sticker.
Paul Aldred did a video on it but the bulk is placed slightly higher on most of my bats due to wanting a good pick up but with lower density it allows me to move where i like and with tricks like bigger shoulders and heavier handles i can place it where my cracks where from the season below..

This is exactly what I'm contemplating at the moment. I'm also 5'7 and I am itching to buy an F18 from IJC. But I don't want spend more than £150 as it'll be a second match bat/ net bat.
So I agree that pressing has a lot to do with the size of the sweet spot thus harder pressed/lower end bats will have a smaller sweet spot. Therefore bat shape is more important as you need to have the most wood behind the area where you hit the ball...right?

Personally if I had a £150 budget I get a 1 stripe from B3 or red ink and ask for the sweet spot/middle to be put where you hit the ball.

From 6 inches (15.27 cm) to 11 inches (27.94 cm) from the toe of the bat. I play on Astro pitches. I am 5'6''. This is one of my designed bats:

Not true at all with the harder pressed stuff i would say they are gang pressed lots of the time ie (no consideration for willow variants).

150mm - 250mm middle (biggest bulge lowest)
Shotty astropitches with very variable bounce. Mainly a front foot player, working purely in soft hands and drives.
Oh, 1.80m tall!

Would be interesting to know who uses a bat with the middle 240+ mm.

Quite low in my GM Octane , More mid in my Kookaburra Onyx
-
Mine are all mid placed middle so around 200mm from toe but all have very long middles as my main shots are driving and pulling as a top order bat.
