Title: Visiting Meerut - Any contacts of bat makers please share

Dear Forum Members,

I will be visiting Meerut - the mecca of Indian sporting goods in the coming week. Need help on contacts who are into cricket equipment manufacturers.

Can I walk into any factory like SS, SG or BDM?

What is the price difference I can expect compared to a retailer?

What should I be careful off?

Any suggestions are most welcome.

The difference in price would be 50%.
Try not falling for the lesser known brands/custom manufacturers who do/outsource their work to any willing local.
Don't think SS & SG entertain visits, unless you are accompanied by any of their contracted players. BDM might.
All the best & make sure you don't indulge only in bats. Have a look at the top end softs & bag- you'll drool at the bargain [emoji12]
