I've always associated Head as a Tennis brand but having seen some bats being used at the 50 over World Cup and now at the World T20 I decided to look up Head cricket equipment...

To me it looks like a generic Indian brand most likely sourced out of one of the major factories and just stickered up, softs also look like classic Indian made softs...
What are people's thoughts? Has anybody ever used Head?

'Has anybody used head?'
Is nothing short of Fattus bait ;)

This might descend into the realms of the waxing/hair removal cream thread!!

Hah! I think I'll be giving Head a miss!!

Yes they contacted us last year regarding stocking them. Orders straight from India with no UK distributor = no thanks.

One of the bats is called the Head Stroke, someone in marketing is having a giggle

Head cricket bats are manufactured by DSC - guys making bats for GM India. Not very popular out here.

There prices are pretty high and from what I have heard the quality is not that great. They are not very popular in India as majority of companies are producing much better quality for a lot less money. So unlikely to make there way in to the UK market until they become more competitive or have a big name signing.

From their Facebook page , looks like they have started sponsoring lot of first class and u19 players. They do have good brand presence. Depends if they want to go all out on top level players like new balance did or stay in first class market.
