Bit of shoe goo and some gaffer tape and she'll be good as new

Wow what a snapper! Looks like the splice has been too tight, combined with storm damage, or is it actually a very well made cake designed to look like a broken Bat?

So how did this happen?
I think everyone is secretly hoping for a Carberry esque block resulting in a comedy moment ;)

Similar happened to a friends! Safe to say it was very dry!

that newbery is fine, just push down on the stickers and it will hold together........ plenty of runs left in it!!!!!
-
Labels suggest the damage is at the toe on your mates bat, can't see the similarities.

I was looking at the now paddle like blade ;)
-
Put it on EBay as a repair its bound to sell
-
Splice a handle into it and you have a lovely size 3. Give it a go, what's the worst that can happen. You could probably reuse the existing handle.
-
sand it and make the bit with the handle look neat and then sell it as a catching bat!!!!
