I'm looking to buy a pair of ss super test gloves in RH, but in youth size. I am confused to their sizing.
I've contact OLS they say indian mens size is smaller then Uk mens size, "about small mens". I said i need the exact size , no guess work, therefore i need 100% conformation to its exact size. if its same size as uk youth. then fine, but if its same as small mens uk or your not 100% sure, then leave it. Otherwise it will return it unless I'm happy. They offered to refund me. So as i can buy it from cricket direct in uk, (they are more expensive then buying direct from india but at least i know the exact sizing and can return them easier) which sell both mens and youth gloves.
i contacted cricket direct the only retailer i see that sells them in uk size. i asked them what (exact) sizing is their, and they said the youth is standard youth, and mens is standard mens (i.e standard uk mens). i said fine.
basically is the question is:
Indian mens (size) = a) Small mens (Uk) or
b) = Youth (Uk)

By from a reputable UK dealer and try them on

a very nice glove, I wear a Standard Mens therefore when I order from India I order OS size which is prefect. I have also purchase the Indian Mens size which is just a little snug but only take a session or two and they seem fine.

I've got 3 pairs from Ols. Few mates with larger hands have some also. I'd say they are larger than youth but smaller than standard men's which suits me

Small mens and Indian mens are very similar in my experience, and I use both without any problems

I had Uzi Green Mamba in youth which are definitely smaller than SS Whiteouts which are Indian mens.
So Indian mens is small mens in UK.

Like shoes, you'll find a variance in size between brands anyway.
I've got two sets of SS Limited Edition batting gloves and have had a few sets of SS batting gloves as well.
All of these have been a smaller size, but i'd call them a more snug fit, rather than small mens.
I've got pretty long fingers and find the indian/sub-continent brands snug, but not too short.
Australian brands, in small mens, the fingers aren't long enough.
Hope this helps.

nice to know.
out of interest will you fit into a youth size glove in uk. and or after a few try ones, will the same youth size fit or will it be tighter then the standard indian gloves. (which appears may be similar to small mens uk)?

OK. good thanks
again, same q to you also: will your hands fit into a youth uk glove? if not then id say the standard indian gloves are bigger then a 'uk youth' but smaller then a standard 'uk mens' , therefore about a small mens?

your right, as eg the Ca standard mens is like slightly bigger then normal mens, maybe a oversize mens almost. etc... yes so there is a variation in some brands to say the least.

ok thanks, i think prob, the most helpful answer. as you can have tried uk youths and you say they are smaller then the indian mens size. which makes sense. as i cant imagine indian mens being same as a youth size. that is just too small. i think.
