Title: Bargain GN Carbo
Post by: SOULMAN1012 on March 18, 2016, 08:05:21 PM
Picked this up a few weeks ago as it just looked to good to pass up. GN maverick Carbo which I posted a wanted thread for a while back and is for some reason one of my favourite bats of all time.
This is 2.9 with 8 clean fairly even grains on a clean blade, 38mm edge with a lovely oval handle. I had a GN Carbo that sounded a bit weird when hitting the ball a bit like the GN Dynadrive can sound a bit tinny but these doesn't seem to have that same sound.
I posted my 2016 kit but I have been building up some GN kit as I still also have my Powerbow 5 400 grade I got from Jake. So I now have 2 stunning looking and pinging GN bats for less than £180 as this was £79 posted via eBay.

Not sure mate I would guess Indian made just on the amount they make and I believe about 95% are Indian made but you never know. Does anyone know can you tell 100% either way by shoulder stamps?

If the shoulder stamp is an X then it was made by Chris King in Robertsbridge. That's the only info I can give you!
