The grains on that look the business!
-
Cheers chap - looks the business!
Purchased the Kooka unseen so am more than happy with how that looks!!!
Very straight grains and even though the kooka is 2lb 8oz, its not massively smaller than the 2lb 12oz Cadbury Newbury!
Am looking forward to trying those babes out in the nets!!
BTW - HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all!!! ;D

You will love both !

WOW, looks awesome, glad your both happy with the deal and i wish everyone plenty of runs/wickets in 2010!
-
James any chance of getting those prices across to me ?
-
The Cadbury stickers look amazing!
-
What was the bat stickered as a Newbery?
-
In James's words "a blank G1 bought off Alridd"
-
Look nice but would never have payed £170 for both!!!
-
why not...seems a good deal i think...
-
Its a plain grade 2 Mike, not sure what it was originally, all I know is that it was made for hit4six who then sold it to me
-
Considering the blade runners still cost around £180 and are great bats.
And the G1/2 still looks to be a decent enough, and big hitting bat, I consider it to be a reasonable price.
Plus if I don't get on with the 'Newbery; then I will sell it for £50 or £60 in 2010. And will therefore still have a £180 Kookaburra for around £110!
So as long as I am happy, and putting some much needed money into the forum economy, then surely its all good! ;D
Both bats look as if they'll go well. And even if the Cadbury stickered bat is 'only grade 2' then it may still go like a rocket - so that wont put me off!
So fingers crossed that both bats are guns! :D
-
I didn't mean to put you off at all buddy, it is only grade 2 in looks, I personally found the ping on the 'Newbery' to be very good, if you do decide to sell it mate please give me a shout as I would definitely be interested.

Its ok fella - it wasnt aimed at you.
And I was told that it was a powerful bat - which is another reason why I was happy to fork out for the bats. :)
-
I'm sure you will be very pleased with it mate, and if not you know where I am :)

It was aimed at me!!! Pretty sure everybody is entitled to their own opinion....
