I'm about to take the plunge with some new pads/gloves for this season. I am a stickler for having matching gear, but I can overcome my OCD if I have blank pads and gloves so when I change my bat (every year) I still don't look too "village".
I was looking at the unbranded stuff from Onlinestockist and was just checking if anyone had knowledge of the sizing? I understand that the Indian fit is normally a little smaller, which is fine as I am 1m70cm tall (5ft 8 for you oldies) and have very small hands, but I would hate to order and find they are way out compared to the normal brands.
I did ask them and they said they are "normal" size, but having worn a number of different makes over the years I don't think there is any such thing.

Pads are average size and will fit you fine.
Gloves are pretty snug and fit like a small mens. I have medium sized hands and they are fine so should probably be good for you if you have small hands.
For the money they are great value. Not quite as nice as say a £50 pair of gloves but less than half the price and nice minimalist look. Pads are a little thin but provide more than enough protection and look plain/classy.

You might have to wait up to five weeks I am waiting on some very light weight pads for a friend

Thanks chaps, just need to decide on which ones to get then. Like the look of the X1 pads...

I bought the X1's Pads and Gloves when they were on sale (both for £36) so I decided it was great value for money and bought some SF pads and gloves too! took about 7-10 days to arrive.
the X1's are really light but very strong. much like the 2015 salix pads.

Just Bought from Online Stockist, 2 pairs of unbranded ultimate white gloves and 1 pair of the same but with black pittards took 8 days to arrive with no problems.
Gloves are just a fraction smaller than "Standard mens" hands
Very pleased with the price quality and service

People say they are less quality than more expensive gloves/pads but I've happily had a 90mph bola smash into the pad and no dramas. The hands have been hit at 80 before and again, no dramas.
People just like to call it lesser quality becUse they don't charge loads. Probably up there for me as the best value kit going and as good as anything else around for any price.

I love the plain look but very cautious about using OLS has anyone dealt with them in the past? I've seen they can be hit and miss from time to time but people swear by their softs

One of my mates bought unbranded pads and two pairs of unbranded gloves and for the price they're not bad at all. Shipping a tad expensive perhaps.

I bought two pairs of unbranded gloves from OLS...can't remember the model/range but I bought 1 pair of the top end ones and 1 pair of the slightly cheaper ones...no problem dealing with OLS and the gloves look nice enough but the quality of the kit was poor... 1 pair split after 4 innings and the other the thumb feels too flimsy to trust that it would provide adequate protection...I would always stick to branded kit in future.
