Title: Shrey Pro Guard with Adjustable Grill

Hi , does anyone know where I can get hold of a shrey pro guard with adjustable grill rather than a fixed one in std size ? basically i am trying to find a substitute for the older masuri helmets which are no longer made

any help would be much appreciated

Yep lots on eBay of older masuri's mate.

If you are set on a shrey then shipping one from India for around £100 is the only option

thanks , yes I've seen the masuri's on ebay but I'd rather get a brand new helmet rather than a second hand one that's most likely to be in a poor state based on how old it is ....perhaps the fixed grill pro guard maybe a better option

i bought a Shrey Masterclass from Eclipseallsports for £65, its brilliant, and detachable sweatbands inside!

Doesnt have a adjustable grill (which i have never seen befor!), what benefit is it? surely it would be that same as normal as you want to keep the ball out!

Chris,

you Order from India or USA, you will get the brand new Shrey with Adjustable grill. The fixed grill is only for UK and is made as per British standards.

This is not true, although you may still be able to find old models elsewhere.

I did call up Shrey and its been told by Mr.Kohli himself that fixed grill helmets were made only for UK. So, I had to order my fixed grill helmet from UK too. Please check their website and select the countries and you see for yourself.

Had already checked just to make sure before I posted, that may have been the case when the new standard when first announced but isn't any more it seems. I'll leave this here ;)

Also confirmed by Shrey Dealer that, in recent times dealers from Aus, USA, SA are stocking fixed grill helmets as they became more popular with crowds. But again in UK Shrey sells only fixed Grill Helmets.
Also just like you posted, pro can select whatever they want and are comfortable with. Again as per the dealer, only UK has the British standards, no other country has it, so still selling the Adjustable grill helmets.
