So I moved to the USA at the end of December as my wife got a promotion at work (we are both from the UK but we're in Dubai previous to the USA).
I'm a teacher by trade and worked for the past 10 years in schools in the UK and The Middle East. Been looking for a teaching job out here since the new year and not getting anywhere...why they won't employ a cricket mad Bristol City fan is beyond me!
So what next? Any ideas? Anyone had experience of starting again in a different country? Luckily I don't need to work just yet in terms of cash and I am legally allowed to work here in the USA but I need to do something before my mind turns to mush!
Cheers

Whereabouts in the US?
How do you like living here?
If you are having a hard time finding a job, private tuition market is very good as lot of college (university) bound high-schoolers seek private tutors for various subjects.

I'm in Atlanta, really enjoying it so far...the food is crazy good!!!
Tutoring might be an option if nothing else comes up that's a good idea cheers.
