Hello,
Has anybody got any experience batting in Nike free runs? Iv always had a pair of Asics for batting in matches that are specialist cricket shoes. But me been lazy I couldn't be bothered to take the spikes out for indoor this winter. Iv been using free runs and for me feel 10x as comfy, my idea is to by a all white pair for outdoor matches. Has anybody done this with similar shoes? Also if I did this where would be the cheapest place to get them spiked even with the weird sole they have
Cheers

Never batted in them, I think shoes manufactured for the intended sport will always be better. But we have spiked up a number of pairs of all white free runs, so you aren't alone in your theory :)

My friend has them done and says that he can't feel a difference from when they had no spikes in

@AaronW95 - I've recently had an all white pair spiked up by @Vitas Cricket and I have to say they're fantastic. As an opening batsman I could come into some issues if @StrettonFox Sports don't sort out their toe protectors pretty sharpish but I'd recommend them all the same - light as anything and get really tell the difference between my spiked pair and my unspiked pair (I've got one pair for netting and one for matches)
Definitely wouldn't bowl in them though, although that's not an issue for me!

Thanks
It sounds like a few have gone down the spiking up rite and worked. Think I am going to look into them for the start of the season. For me they just feel like my feet are more responsive when batting don't know if it is because of the shoe been mostly mesh or what but I like that feeling rather than wearing a normal batting shoe
As for bowling I have a deprecate shoe for that so this isn't a problem
Thanks guys
