I have just wasted a quarter of an hour looking through some of the better quality willow bats that MSR are selling on eBay.
Some of them look like beauties. Has anyone taken the plunge on these? I understand that some people have had good net bats (I've had a couple too - but these are probably velum?) but wonder what others' experiences with the better grades are.

I haven't used one but I believe the higher grade bats are fitted with better quality handles as well as being a better piece of willow so should last a decent amount of time

if it helps there's posts on here re Msr premier elite bats.

Didn't get one of the branded up ones but I bought a nice looker for £120ish off them a couple of years ago, was a seriously good bat and would have been my match bat for that season if the handle hadn't gone. Steve replaced it no problem, but sold it on to a teammate who used it happily for a season and a half and scored decent runs with it.

Have you tried using the search function? It's less use than Michael Vaughan's knees and that's if it even works at all.

got one 2 years ago, didn't rate it, and broke it during first net.
maybe a bad one...
