14 year old dibbly dobbler bowler getting hold of one at nets and flinging 80mph beamers at my chest, face and nuts. Hate them.

Chose an empty net and worked out how to use it before letting myself loose on anyone. Good job too. First attempt was a fast beamer.

Everyone is abit wild at first... i actually practised using one with no batter while people were padding up etc. its just the same as anything if you practise you get better. how often do you start doing something new and youre perfect at it?
I'm able to hit a decent line and length and at a decent lick 8/10.

Only ever known one person who can use them like I can, not many people can handle the out swinging yorker. They're great for practice when someone can use them. I think everyone's able to throw in a Beamer every now and then, keeps the batsman on their toes.

As above, started off not trying to wang it fast but get accurate. Took a hour or three in a net alone but mastered it. Can now do sharper than any bowler, get it seaming , swinging and do a slower ball. It's a very very useful tool as someone who isn't of enough pace to make training worth while and a dodgy knee.. This allows me to give anyone suitable training that I can do faster or slower depending on what they want
