Hey everyone
I'm curious to find out what spin bowlers on the forum prefer to wear when bowling. Traditionally spinners have been pushed towards batting spikes such as the Puma evoSpeed 1.4 and the Adidas SL22 which I've personally worn for a while. Recently I've seen some spinners using the Adidas Adipower Vectors such as Adam Riley of Kent and also Moeen Ali for a bit. I've also used the Vectors more recently and found them very comfortable but I can understand why some spinners wouldn't like wearing them.
What spikes do you prefer to wear when bowling spin and what do you like about them?

I use the Asics Gel Advance 6 from last season. They are really comfortable and I personally have never had a bad pair of Asics!

I've heard good things about Asics spikes, never personally used Asics as I wasn't too keen on the running shoes

Asics 452! found a BN pair just two years ago to replace my used one. Amazing spike to field/ bowl spin in.

Another vote for the Gel Advance 4s from me.
Has mine a few seasons, plenty of support, lovely and comfortable and most importantly light.
I've also worn Asics Gel 335s that are a decent pair of spikes, they have less mash than the Gel Advances, so I prefer these when the outfield is a bit damp as you don't get soggy feet.

I used a pair of Nike shoes last season that started to feel heavy after 50 overs in the field, this is something I've never had with my Asics.
